The necessity of the Issue
The Buyback is being assumed for the following reasons:
- The Buyback will assist the Company in returning surplus cash to its shareholders holding Equity Shares predominantly in proportion to their shareholding, thereby, enhancing the overall return to shareholders.
- The Buyback may help improve return on equity by reducing the equity base, in doing so, leading to a long-term increase in shareholders’ value.
